1 DAY WORKSHOP – $550

2 DAY WORKSHIP – $850
(16 HOUR/16 CONTACT HOURS/0.16 CEUs)

Students will review and demonstrate the procedures used for acceptable practices of testing the four basic backflow prevention assemblies.

The workshops are designed to review the necessary skills and information to apply for recertification of the Backflow Prevention Assembly Tester’s Certification Examination.

BF Course

5 DAY COURSE – $1400
(40 HOUR/40 CONTACT HOURS)

Topics: History of Backflow Prevention, Basic Hydraulics and Theory of Backflow Prevention, Administration of Cross-Connection Control Programs, Methods of Backflow Prevention and Backflow Prevention Assemblies, Backflow Prevention Assembly Testing and Diagnostics.

Upon completion of training, students will have acquired the Certificate & Contact Hours necessary to apply for the Backflow Prevention Assembly Tester’s Certification Examination.

Cross Connection Control Specialist (CCCS)

CCCS Workshops

1 DAY WORKSHOP – $550

2 DAY WORKSHOP – $850
(16 HOUR/16 CONTACT HOURS/0.16 CEUs)

This course was designed for those responsible for the administration of a cross-connection control program within their agency or area. Students will:

  • Explain the importance of the regulations, policies and procedures relating to cross-connection control programs.
  • Plan, and conduct a site survey to determine the degree of hazard, evaluate the level of protection, and determine which type of backflow protection is adequate.
  • Explain the importance of cross-connection control to water users, and discuss public relation issues.

CCCS Course

5 DAY COURSE – $1500
(40 HOUR/40 CONTACT HOURS)

Prerequisite for CCCS Certification: Current CA-NV-AWWA BF Certification.
